Racial Equity and 2020 Wisconsin Forum & Afropolitan Gala

This is your opportunity to once again support Kujichagulia efforts to promote our rich history, resilient nature and the telling of our story as tools of empowerment for all Madison’s community members through the sharing of our stories, acquisition of knowledge and relationship building.

On Friday, December 27, 2019, we will host a Community Forum- Racial Equity and 2020 – Black Middle Class Alienation and Poor Black Marginalization ( invited participants, Ben Wiker, Shelia Stubbs, Carl Walton,) followed by the First Annual Afropolitan Gala at the Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club.

This event will be a night of elegant celebration of Black Resilience, and also feature the opportunity to honor the legacy of four women of courage, faith and resilience. Dr. Virginia Henderson, Addrena Squires, Dr. Fannie Frazier-Hicklin and Mother Jacqueline Wright; enjoy live performances by local gifted artists such as, Roderquita Moore-Ward, Jesse Lester, Alex Lodge, Prenicia Clifton and dancing with music by DJ Delirious, along with a wonderfully planned soul food buffet and great fellowship in a festive Afrocentric atmosphere.
